Since it was premiered in 2012, FSB, Gira and KEUCO have issued invitations to their joint Points of Contact meeting point in Venice during the opening week of each Architecture Biennial.
For the fourth time in succession, the 2018 meeting point will serve as a special place for architects and fans of architecture to convene for an informative and convivial get-together. The event will again be held in a period palazzo right next to the Grand Canal this year.
Your free VIP package covers daily access to the rooms in “our” palazzo from 24-28 May between 9am and 10pm. We will, of course, also be attending to your culinary needs. Likewise included, moreover, are the evening programme, a range of guided tours and talks and a water-taxi shuttle service between Biennial site and palazzo.
Things kick off at 6pm on 23 May with our exclusive welcome party. This is our momentous prelude to the Architecture Biennial, which officially runs from 26 May to 25 November.
We were able to welcome no fewer than 3,250 architects to our last meeting point at the 2016 Architecture Biennial – in the Palazzo Contarini Polignac on that occasion, a building steeped in history. The BDA additionally harnessed the rather special atmosphere for an evening function attended by a thousand or so architects, media representatives and people with an interest in culture and architecture.
We look forward to again being able to welcome you to this year’s Points of Contact meeting point.
